palmolive..i think its got the strongest smell...i would have said ivory..cause it burns especially when you use bar soap..had it done to me many many times as a kidWhat Soap Would You Use To Wash Out Someone's Dirty Mouth With?
Dawn antibacterial to make sure ';it'; didn't come back!
Ajax. It tastes the worst. Yes, i know that for a fact.
Palmolive because I think it would taste the worst. Joy and Dawn seem to cheery and Ajax seems poisonous. Plus I already have P in the house n I'm lazy today.
Joy, as its what put the dirt there in the first place ;)
CARBOLIC
or CILLIT BANG
When I was a kid, my mom just used a bar of bath soap like Dove.
Kudos! - To you for caring enough about your children to make sure that they respect themselves and others and not use bad language. Too many parents think it is funny when a child says a dirty word.
ewwww! use a bar a soap not dish liquid soap!
i can't choose any of the soaps here coz i'll prefer one that's concentrated in caustic soda coz when i wash that person's mouth with it,it won't get dirty or smelly in a very long while.
I would use dawn. I choose dawn because its gets all the grease out, so I would think it would get the filth ouf of peoples mouths as well as the dishes
dove soap milkshake!!
Ajax, coz i like the smell ,hahaha
Palmolive, because in india here, palmolive is the only soap that I would get out of those four soaps.
Ajax; I accidently injested some(I thought the liquid was off my hands, but it wasn't so it got on my food and there you go) and it made me vomit; plus, it smells bad.
Ajax it will whiten their teeth also.
Palmolive cuz that's what I have in my house, and I'm sure it tastes really nasty!
dawn if swallowed gives you diarhea I know it has been done to me a few times before to where you'll never forget not to cuss
Ajax. Deep cleaning scouring power.
I would use Irish Spring because I would enjoy the irony almost as much as washing a persons mouth with soap.
Joy,
If the person say the 'f' word joy
the 'S' word ajax and any other words, dawn.

How do i get rid of bumps on my face besides washing my face with soap?
i wash my face twice a day with soap....
HELP ME!How do i get rid of bumps on my face besides washing my face with soap?
Go to bed every night with a honey/cinnamon face mask on. In just 2 weeks your skin will be acne free forever! I know I suggest this mask to a lot of people, but that's because it works so well and it's very inexpensive! Just be sure it's raw, unpasteurized honey. How do i get rid of bumps on my face besides washing my face with soap?
You could try a facial
you are using the wrong soap
try a soap like neutrogena esp. for the summer break outs happen alot more
try a toner with witchazel in it also apply with a cotton ball and let it air dry
I had a similar condition (keep in mind I don't knwo what your bumps are specifically like) where I had small bumps all over my face and the tops of my arms. It was really unappealing, so I asked my doctor and he said it was a dry skin disorder (which isn't always obvious because I NEVER thought my skin was dry) and that I should use lotion that had Beta Carotine in it.
If you're like me, then this really works.
Hope it helps.

palmolive, because it's liquid and sounds nastier than the restWhat Soap Would You Use To Wash Out Someone's Dirty Mouth With?
Ajax, doesn't that have bleach? dirty mouths need a good cleaning and a bleach product would do the trick
I could have sworn you just asked this
Battery acid works the best. I guarantee you they will never cuss again
Dawn because it will be the dawn of a new day when they get their mouth clean
Dawn...because it ';takes grease out of your way';.
Ajax... It's the stuff I use to get the burnt on food of the cook top.
I'm sure it's the strongest, and it smells awful.
A toxic mix of all four should clean out the dirtiest of potty mouths.

Can using two soaps to wash your brace break you out?
i used a anit bacterial soap to wash my face, then i used dove soap to wash it again, and the next day i start breaking out all over my face...do ou think thats the reason why i'm breaking out?Can using two soaps to wash your brace break you out?
It's probably part of the reason. Why are you washing your face so much? It changes the ph of your skin and its just not good.
Acne is not caused by dirty skin. Oil glands are connected to a a hair-containing canel called a folicle. The oil produced causes the cells lining the folicle to shed more rapidly, and you can end up with clumps of oil and dead skin cells clogging your pores and follicles. Bacteria can grow in these plugs, causing redness, irritation and pus - namely a pimple.
When your skin is irritated, it stimulates your glands to produce more oil, and more oil can lead to clogged pores and acne.
Skin irritation can be caused by frequent washing, harsh scrubbing, or soap.
There are a whack of other things that can help with acne, but in your case, ditch one of your soaps, and don't use the other one more than twice a day, see if that helps. And if I were you, I'd go for a really gentle product for your skin - Dove is good, also Aveeno, etc.Can using two soaps to wash your brace break you out?
Probably........the one (antibacterial) is drying you out and the Dove is giving your face moisture. Your face may be so dried out that it is over-producing oil....therefore the breakouts.

To be effective how long does one have to wash with antibacterial soaps?
lather with the soap long enough to run through the alphabet at least once. The longer the soap is on, the longer the antibacterial soap has longer to work. Run through the alphabet again as you are rinsing to remove as well.To be effective how long does one have to wash with antibacterial soaps?
Enough time to sing your alpabets. (30 secs) But it has been proven that antibacterial soap is no better than regular soap. It is the hot water that really counts!

Why does the soap lid not open when washing dishes in the dishwasher?
I have a newer dishwasher and never have had problems with it until now. Everytime I want to put away my dishes my dishwasher still has soap in it. What is the problem? I wonder if the dishwasher is not opening during soap time or something. Why does the soap lid not open when washing dishes in the dishwasher?
If the door is not opening at all maybe somethings blocking it. If you have the kind with a turn dial for the settings try closing the detergent door and with the main door open turn the dial and see if it pops open. Otherwise you could try a different kind of detergent maybe a gelpac. Also is the water hot enough? Does it have it's own hot water booster? Why does the soap lid not open when washing dishes in the dishwasher?
That has happened to me a few times. When the door opens the soap has to drop in the bottom of the washer. But, what sometimes happens is theres a pot or something else that it drops on to and it doesn't fall to the bottom and it can't dissolve right. Just make sure no big thing like a pot is right underneath the dispenser.
You might need to cut back on the ammount of soap you are using. Is the soap cup open and empty when you open the door?

Going from only water to washing face with soap?
Ive used everything under the sun.. so i decided to use only water for a couple weeks but acne got worse.,. Just started using lever 2000 bar soap because I need something simple and my acne seems to be getting worse.. Is it just because i hadn't washed my face for so long before? Will it clear up as long as I wash once a day with this lever?Going from only water to washing face with soap?
Lever 2000 is a bit harsh for facial skin. You might want to get a soap that is formulated specifically for your face. Shea Moisture brand soaps are sold at Target; their black soap is wonderful and keeps my skin really clear.
Don't throw away the Lever 2000, though! I was thinking that you might want to check out Clean The World ( http://www.cleantheworld.org ) and perhaps send the remnants of your used bar soaps to them via Central Care Mission. I'm a big fan of fun bath products, but any that don't suit my fancy, or the last bits of the soap bars, get sent to them to help prevent disease and death in Third World Countries.

Thanks, and have a great day!Going from only water to washing face with soap?
don't wash your face with soap. regular soap can take up to 80 rinses to get all of the soap scum off of your face. you should use a cleanser designed for your skin type. you could find one of these from clinique, mary kay, etc. keep in mind, they work by pulling the gunk out of your pores, so you may think they aren't working and are just making you break out more, but they really are working like they are supposed to. so once your pores are clean, you don't break out anymore, as long as you don't skip days of use. you should also follow up with a moisturizer to keep the moisture in your skin balanced. moisturizer also protects your face from the environment and getting dirt and such back into your pores.
No, i wouldn't recommend that. I tried the same thing because I went from things like Proactive and other products that are serious and nothing was working. So I thought something simple like a lever of soap would work, and it just got worse and worse. Have you tried going to your Dermo ? Or getting a Prescription ? If your acne is very bad ive had friends use accutane.
Hope I helped !
I recommend u to use this things: 1. SPA skin care soap by Elizabeth Arden... believe me, it works or 2. Washing ur face with sugar and water gently everyday , or u can also 3. wash ur face daily at least two times and drinking all the water u drink with some lemon juice (hehe not lemonade... only water and some drops of natural lemon juice)..... all of these ';tips'; have really worked well in meviruses

Does sperm completely die or completly wash off with normal water and soap?
Depends if you can get the soap and water to where the sperm is.
NOT a very dependable contraceptive.
DO NOT bet your future on it.
Also remember that precum contains sperm, so that the pull out method does'nt work.Does sperm completely die or completly wash off with normal water and soap?

Do you use bar soap or body wash?
I prefer a bar of soap. What abt u?Do you use bar soap or body wash?
I use a body wash.Do you use bar soap or body wash?
soap....
Bar soap, it's rose scented
both ...... usually Softsoap Milk %26amp; Honey Body Wash and sometimes Dove Soap followed by body wash .....
I am Klingon. I have no use for such devices. Thank you, thank you very much....
Both. First the bar, then the body wash.
Bar soap.
body wash
I use bar soap taken from Resorts hotel in Atlantic City, NJ
body wash last longer
BODY WASH, OLD SPICE
pickle juice.
shower gel - axe ';essence';
I use a very good smelling body wash that I found, believe it or not, at the dollar store. Soap tends to leave a lot more residue in your shower than body washes do. I would tell the name of the body wash. But God forgive, that might me against the rules.
Body wash, always, and I always wonder how people who use soap don't mind the sticky soap residue, I guess they got used to it and don't even notice it
Both
Both!

both depends on if i really feel good a bout the day or wether it work or going out on a date.

If your child swears, do you wash his/her mouth out with soap?
I never use any form of physical punishment with my kids. As for swearing, before you discipline your kids, stop and think about if you or other's in your house use swearing in thier conversation/daily exchanges. Now, this does not mean it is ok for a child to use foul language, especially in coversation iwith adults or in school. BUT, it is very hard to tell a child that swearing is never, ever allowed if they hear it at the dinner table each night. Instead of saying something like ';We never use language like that in this house';, take the time to tell them why it is inappropriate for kids to use that language, give specific examples of when it will never be tolerated and then suggest a place and time that it is ok...in your room, alone, with the door closed into your pillow is the one we use. When the point out you use words they aren't supposed to, don't say ';I'm a grownup, I can do what I want'; or something like it. Instead say that for adults, you included, swearing can become a habit like biting your nails or smoking and that while you may use those words at home, you would never use them in talking to your boss or your own parents. If your child swears, do you wash his/her mouth out with soap?
No. My kids are still young and still learning that some words they hear people say are bad, so I don't punish them for saying them. I teach them not to say words like that.
But when they are older and know better, yea I'd put some soap in there if I had to! They need to learn somehow, right?!If your child swears, do you wash his/her mouth out with soap?
no !.. thats crazy... maybe pepper in the mouth tho :)
NO! It is an abusive act. Soap contains ingredients that can be dangerous. Instead, when I first hear them using it I explain that it is impolite to use some words, and suggest words to use instead. In my opinion. too many parents are too quick to punish instead finding opportunities to teach. Children are much smarter than most give then credit for!
NEVER, EVER HURT A CHILD.
No but in my elementary school they use to.
I look at it this way, if my child swears then it is my fault and I need to change my behavior. (My children are very young and they don't attend day care)
nope..i used to get soap and i'd blow bubbles..finaly they learned a smack in the mouth works just as god and i would say its tought me a lot so *SMACK*
well, my children are not old enough to talk yet, but i do plan on using soap for cussing. i was raised in a household where those were only words for grown ups and i better not use them. half the people on here do not make sense. they say that they will not use soap, but they will ';pop'; them. that makes no sense to me.
absolutely, unequivocally NO! Not only is it awful it can be poisonous and potentially harmfull. If there are adults who are using foul language around your child it is only natural for them to mimic. It is a parents job to TEACH the child this is inappropriate language and enforce abstainance from using these words.
Children can be put in a time out etc if young, withhold favorite toys or activities etc if they continue. Get creative! But always be aware of what your own actions are teaching your child.
My sister had alot of success with hot sauce. just a dab on the end of their tongue. but on the otherhand now they don't like any spicy foods. and we are talking about someone who thinks stupid and fart and ';my bad'; are bad words.
hmm... No.
Instead, why dont you explain to the children that curse words are used my people who arent very smart. They use curse words to express emotions that they cant express with regular words. I think kids can understand that and of course they dont want to be the dumb kid.
If you absolutely have to... wash there mouths with Baking soda and peroxide it tastes awful BUT it is also a form of anticeptic wash so it will do them good.
Nah, make them drink some nasty medicine they hate, give them some baking soda that'll wipe their mouths clean!
no way. if your child is on the older side then he/she will remember it and resent you for a while. if she/he is younger than just talk to him/her about how much it hurts people and how bad it is, and give him/her a time out or simple disipline.
No, I think its pointless and nasty.
My kids are only 6 and 4, so they really dont swear unless they repeat something they hear someone else say. I just explain that some words are not for little children or young ladies to use. The words are gross and yucky and rude. And even though some adults use them it isnt appropriate for children to swear.
I'd prefer to sit and talk to my children than wash their mouths with soap. Even when they are older and know what the words mean and use them to be cool or whatever. I will talk to them about why they feel the need to use such words and how disgusting it sounds.
I would never wash my childs mouth out with soap I just think that is cruel. I do believe in poping or scolding but never would I make my child wash his mouth out with soap.
yes, and if there's a second time, they owe me $10, a third time $20, a fourth $35. so far, nobodies gone past 4 times.viruses
No. My kids are still young and still learning that some words they hear people say are bad, so I don't punish them for saying them. I teach them not to say words like that.

I do believe in poping or scolding but never would I make my child wash his mouth out with soap.
yes, and if there's a second time, they owe me $10, a third time $20, a fourth $35. so far, nobodies gone past 4 times.
Do you use bar soap or body wash?
Body wash i like that one better my skin feels smother and smells sweet way better than a bar soap they tend to smell a little stronger for my taste, my favorite body wash is love spell from victoria secret i love that one or Olay.
By the way you always ask good questions lol.Do you use bar soap or body wash?
Olay body wash . Don't touch that dry *** bar soap.Do you use bar soap or body wash?
Mostly body wash
Tide...
body wash bar soap sits on ur skin and makes u itch
Body Wash
I use Dial bar soap since body wash seems to leave residue that makes me feel greasy
Wow, I think I'm in the minority here xD I use bar soap =]
body wash. good luck.
I use bars of Zest, a non-soap. Zest makes my body feel cleaner than bodywash, and doesn't make me itch like soap does.
bar soap is so 20th century...BODY WASH!!!
just kidding about the bar soap, but i do like soap better in bottles for whatever reason.
Bodywash. Soap dries your skin out.
I like body wash but Ill use either. Lately Ive just been using my shampoo for my body
Bar soap.
I use both. I have certain areas that are super sensitive to products that contain artificial colors and perfumes so I have to use white un-scented soap on them which is very hard to find. I use body wash on the rest of me.
Body wash. There is a brand called Dr. Bronner that is great.
I use body wash and one of those puff things. I like all those suds.
Body wash.
Body wash- bar soap just gets me frustrated.
body wash. bar of soap can get germs.
Nice smelling body wash.Followed by matching scent of body spray
Body wash only.
I don't feel like bending over to pick up the bar soap all the time.
Soap
Body wash. I hate dropping the soap.
body wash
Body wash of course, no soap scum left behind in shower or tub............
Body wash in the shower, bar soap for hands.
soap for shaving and body wash for cleaning.
I use cetaphil bar soap.
bodywash it smells better
both. it depends on what type of mood i am in.

Is using hand sanitizer as good as washing your hands with soap and hot water?
I handle money daily, its supposed to be the dirtiest thing you can touch, and I use hand sanitizer religiously. Is that as good as washing my hands with soap and hot water? Is using hand sanitizer as good as washing your hands with soap and hot water?
as for sanitizing your hands, yes...but not for cleaning your hands. the majority of dirt and bacteria is removed from your hands when you wipe them dry.Is using hand sanitizer as good as washing your hands with soap and hot water?
I hope I never have to go to any hospitals the people who have answered this question work at. Hand sanitizer is not as good but is far better than nothing. It kills germs when used properly which is when it is allowed to dry undisturbed on the skin which takes a few minuets. It is good for in-between hand washings to stop the spread of infection, but is not a substitute for proper hand washing which most people don't seem to have mastered anyway. I say, keep using the hand sanitizer and keep your hands away from your face to avoid contact with your mouth, nose and eyes. ALWAYS wash your hands before eating or drinking anything and you should be fine. Think of how many other nasty things we touch daily.....
No. Would you rather kill 99.9% of germs and have them still on your hand(but dead, maybe), or would you rather lather up and wash them AND dead skin cells down the drain?? I hate sanitizer.
yes but only in place of the equivalent of three hand washings. every third time please use soap and water. also it is very drying to skin so please use lotion to retain moisture. Hospitals and nursing homes use this practice.
Yes as long as your hands aren't dirty like all brown or something.
Yes it is just as good as long as your hands are not visably dirty. We use it at the hospital all the time.

So is it better just to use bar soap than buying face wash??
Yes. I use Dove soap, unscented, on my face. It doesn't dry it out like face washes for acne do but because it's balanced it helps the oily and very dry skin...I have combination type.
Bar soap is a vague description. There are other bar soaps that do dry your skin out. Dial is one of them. Dove bar soap, Olay, Caress...those are the only good bar soaps.
If you do want to buy face wash, the only one that has worked on acne and not dried my skin out was Equate face wash (WalMart's brand). Clearsil and Clean %26amp; Clear were awful, dried me up and actually gave me more acne than before I started. So is it better just to use bar soap than buying face wash??
Use Aveeno bar soap if you have normal to dry skin. If you have oil skin then the bar will not help. If you use body soap on your face, you will dry out the skin. Your skin will feel really tight and you'll be unhappy with it.
Aveeno bar soap is always with the other face washes/scrubs and usually costs less than the others, but works really well.So is it better just to use bar soap than buying face wash??
Bar soap is very drying to the face, I recomend the following:
for dry/flakey skin: Olay intense moisture facial cleanser
for oily/acne prone: St.Ives Apricot scrub for oily/acne prone skin
for normal/combination skin: Nutrugena Daily pore cleanser for norlal/combination skin
if you use a bar soap, use dove. nothing else.
I use face wash. I stopped using bar soap when I discovered all the bacteria that grows on it while it's siting on the bath tub wet. However, bar soap is cheaper and dove soap is the most natural one. So if you use bar soap buy dove.
well it depends, is the bar soap specially formulated for use on the face...
I know neutrogena and the body shop, as well as clinique have products like that...and if thats what your talking about, keep the bar clean...as in in a closed soap dish
I wouldnt use irish spring though or anything in that catagory, talk about breakouts and really dry skin
No way!!! Everyone should take good care of their face.Washing it with soap is definitely not it.You should buy a facial cleanser. The best thing to do would be to find out what your skin type is then choose a facial wash that suits your skin-and needs-best.
bar soap is made of lots of fats and these are horrible for your pores, try a body wash for your body and a face wash for your face or a glycerin bar. they ar ethe best..
Don't use bar soap. Use a cleanser, like Philosophy's Purity. You'll be amazed at the results.
If the bar soap is a face wash, then I think it won't cause your skin to be as sensitive compared to a bar soap for your body. Plus they do seem to be cheaper than a gel face wash.
Liquid or creme facial wash is better, it will not dry out, do not have to worry about storage and it is more sanitary..
No bar soap should be used to clean your beautiful face!!! It is too drying, get a facial wash suitable for your face.

Poll: Bar Soap or Body Wash?
What do you mean?
One or the other?
Or one for this and one for that?
I mean I have a face, a lot of skin, some private parts, water bath, 2 feet…
I first soak in my bubble bath, I like the black raspberry vanilla Bubble bath Signature Collection from Bath %26amp; Body Works.
For my face (I won’t go into the Mask section at this point…), I use Olay products, which are soap and oil-free. The foaming face wash (deep clean and not overdrying) and the the Olay Complete SFP 30 Defense with daily UV moisturizer for sensitive skin. (I would never, ever, ever, use soap on my face!)
For my feet (I have very beautiful feet, so I take good care of them), I like anything that’s fun, because unlike my skin, my face or my private parts, my feet are not so sensitive. A nice bar soap like a Sunflower %26amp; Grapefruit Essence from SopTerre or a gentle soap Avalon %26amp; Gray or a fun Walt Disney Resorts Bath soap Mickey mouse. Anything that smells good is fine for my feet. Really, the last bar soap you got from the last hotel you stayed in will do just fine, as long as it was not a cheap motel.
For my privates, I only use the Hydralin Classic savon (from France), specially designed for the feminine vulva, It’s soothing, gentle, smell great and respect your phd there unlike those harsh stinking so called feminine awful wash you get in America.
For my body (which is anything except my face, my feet, my privates and my hair…which is a whole other matter…). I like to use the sun-ripened raspberry creamy body wash, infused with real raspberry extract, by Bath %26amp; Body Works Pleasures.Poll: Bar Soap or Body Wash?
Bar soap. Ivory or Dove in winter, Lever 2000 or Dial Antibacterial in summer.

Is washing dishes with antibacterial soap and hot water enough to prevent disease transmission via that route?
I've got bronchitis, so I was wondering if this would be enough so as to not get others sick that share this place. Thanks! Is washing dishes with antibacterial soap and hot water enough to prevent disease transmission via that route?
There is a local day care center in my area, and the owner of puts 1 cap full(that's about a tablespoon) of Ammonia into the dish water, along with the antibacterial dish soap...
She cares for 15 kids and rarely do they get sick while in her care.
I use it too, because Ammonia will not tarnish my silver ware as will the pure bleach.

Is washing your hands with soap in cold water an effective method to kill bacteria?
I have read that washing your hands with warm water and soap is effective but what about cold water? My work location only has cold water. Should I pursue getting a hot water supply run? I'm in a small office enviroment. Is washing your hands with soap in cold water an effective method to kill bacteria?
The benefits of having hot water include 1) it is more comfortable and 2) the soap tends to suds up better.
Most of the bacteria you are wanting to rid yourself of are removed from the physical action of washing your hands, and not the soap itself. Antibacterial soap is bad for the environment, so I try not to use it (or a lot of it). If you are worried, I would keep some gel sanitizer at your desk and use that when you return from the restroom.
But in a nutshell... the action of scrubbing your hands (30 seconds, or two rounds of the happy birthday song) will make your hands clean. Is washing your hands with soap in cold water an effective method to kill bacteria?
I have heard that either hot, scorching water or cold water are more effective. Warm water actually carries more bacteria. Regardless, handwashing with water and a good antibacterial soap greatly reduces your chance of sick and bacteria. So, wash away! And, you should pursue hot water in your office just for sake of emergencies and occasional necessity.
I have read that cold water is actually better than hot.
Having said that you should have a hot water supply in your work place.
Press for the hot water, at least you then have a choice.
Good luck
A.D.
I don't know about you, but I cannot wash my hands in cold water. They just don't feel clean after. When I wash my hands, the water is actually scolding hot. lol I like it better that way coz I feel cleaner with hot water compared to cold water.

Does brainwashing mean that you take your brain out and wash it with soap and water?
you can do lots of things, the best is doing it the old fashioned way by taking it out by the river side and wet it and smack it agains a few rocks to get the stains out, the you rub it up and downt the rocks to make sure its super washed!Does brainwashing mean that you take your brain out and wash it with soap and water?
That is really the old fashioned way. Nowadays we just insert a high pressure water hose in one ear and just blow the stuff out the other side. Feeling a little clogged up? Just call Bubba's Brainwashing and Coffee Bar, 1-800-GRY-MATR for an estimate.Does brainwashing mean that you take your brain out and wash it with soap and water?
NO, it means your being forced to believe in a god!
mine goes straight into the washing machine
it can mean anything you want hun. 'special' people always ask 'special' questions. so again...'brainwashing' can mean whatever it is you'd like it to mean. *hugs to you, you little special boy*
No, you take the brain out and put it in the washing machine, silly...........I thought everyone knew that lol.
No, you dump it in a bucket of clorox to completely remove past memories.
that's exactly what it means.
this question suits you ver much.Good going!!!
If that is what you have been told, then it is a classic example of your brain truly being brainwashed.
On a serious note...it means that you have been 'led to believe...'
How did you know? Get out of my head!
Washing machines do fine job but when your mind is really really dirty you put it through the dishwasher.
yes and boiled its for another one hour.

Bar Soap or Face Wash?
Ok, here's the story:
I have been to two dermatologists and the first one said that bar soap (example:Dove) was bad and causes breakouts if you put it on your face. The other said that bar soap is usually better than name brand face wash. So my questions are:
Which works better for moisturizing and preventing breakouts?
Is bar soap bad?Bar Soap or Face Wash?
the bar sopa works for moisture..the face wash works for preventing break outs...no the bar sopa isn't bad at all..in fact i use dove and it's good 4 u..it helps u in alot of ways..it keeps skin soft, clear, smooth and looking good..the only time u need 2 use face wash is when u have acne or breakouts..anyways for that neutrogena isn't a veyr good product because i've tried 4 products and it does lessen the breakouts but then if you stop using them because your skin is better then u get more breakouts because ur skin is use 2..so yea..i suggest something free for breakouts..toothpaste...wash face..put on toothpaste til it drys then wash with ice cold water..u'll see the difference by 4 days...Bar Soap or Face Wash?
I would suggest trying Rodan + Fields unblemish Regimen. It is exactly what you need and will help tremendously. You use it daily and it will give you clear, calm and balanced skin and stop pimples and blackheads, red spots and dark spots from forming.I use Rodan + Fields Reverse Regimen(for sun damage) and I noticed results in just two days. I even had a co-worker tell me my skin looked ';radiant'; after a few days of using it..and i've never been told that before in my life! The creators of this skin care line are dermatologists but they decided to go to direct selling with prescription strength medicine and botanicals without people having to go to the doctor to get it. It's guaranteed results so much so that they will give you a full refund if you don't see results. If you want, you can check out my website http://kerrygettman.myrandf.com and place an order once you've read up on it. I would be happy to help you if you have any more questions. Rodan + Fields has been mentioned in several magazines such as Oprah's and Allure and many more....check it out. It will help you
Face wash! Bar soap can make you face red and itchy.
i heard that using the bar of soap will cause breakouts because it has oil in it

Good soap or body wash??
I need a good soap or body wash that smells good for guys because right now I'm a guy who uses Dove and after a while the soap smells weird on my arm hair. Also I want to use cologne after i use the soap or body wash.Good soap or body wash??
I use the axe body wash. Any scent smells good and you can use it in combination with the other axe products (sprays) but you don't really have to because the smell of the wash stays on you pretty well...Plus it drives the gals wild ';Bow-Chicka-Bow-Wow';Good soap or body wash??
I use body wash.
Mmmmm, Palmolive Tahitian Escape. ;D
i agree , axe comes in a shower gel and body spray so the sent can be layered both my husband and son wear this and it smells great!!!! can also be used as a shampoo
Dr. Bronner's magic soap smells great and super fresh and you feel very clean afterwords! GNC or Trader Joe's sells it. Cologne advice..the more expensive ones are the best smelling because they are better quality. Just go to Macy's or Nordstrom and sample their selections and get the one you like the best, or even better, ask the lady behind the counter which one she like the best! Women are the best judges for mens colognes.
The detergent bars sold in stores are full of chemicals and hormones that are so bad for guys. Use real lye soap. It's not harsh on your skin like most people think - actually, you won't believe how soft your skin will be with natural conditioners from lye soap - and it's not full of all the female hormones like mass produced soaps. Plain lye soap will cut all smells, that's why hunters use it, but you can get it with an additive like cinnamon which is pretty good for guys. I get mine from these people http://www.lyesoap.com/index.html and no, I do not work for/with them, just a happy customer.

If you put liquid soap in your mouth, but wash is out with water without swallowing any could it be dangerous?
What kind of soap... Hand washing and dishwashing soap... as long as you rinsed without swallowing.. you should be ok.
If it any other type of chemical.. I'd be calling a local health clinic right away to ask what to do.. If its minor they will tell you.. if not they will pump your stomach (and save your life). If you put liquid soap in your mouth, but wash is out with water without swallowing any could it be dangerous?
I dont believe so. Im 99% sure. This has happened to me, haha. Hope This can be of help. It may differ if an infant has ingested the soap. Consult the bottle if still unsure. If you put liquid soap in your mouth, but wash is out with water without swallowing any could it be dangerous?
first y soap in mouth. then could b dangerous could soak into blood vessels in tongue, gums, cheeks
Depends on the product. I think the only worry is if you swallow any of it, it can give you diarrhea.
First of all, why would you want to eat liquid soap? Can you say, ';eww!!';. Second, no, it won't hurt a tad. Some parents even punish their kids by putting liquid soap in their children's mouths when they swear or spit. Although it is cruel, it shows that it is possible to do without harming them. So no, it won't hurt you.
Didn' t hurt my kids potty mouths. But all it took was a couple of times washing their mouths out with this.
My mother used to wash my mouth out with soap when I was a child and said something bad. Other than the emotional trauma, I survived unscathed.
nothing will happende
Why would you want to do that?
Stick with mouthwash.
Well I'm not a doctor, but I think if you thoroughly rinse your mouth out----I mean like 10 times----you should be okay as long as you didn't swallow it. But I would suggest you call your doctor just to be on the safe side.
I grew up with a bar of Safeguard in my mouth, it didnt hurt me any. I cant imagine liquid soap would hurt either.
.. Why would you put liquid (or any) type of soap in your mouth?
you must be deluded to do something like that but it should be ok. do not put any type of bleach or strong cleaning substance in your mouth unless you have a death wish.

Can I use liquid soap on a cat(to wash it)?
Instead of pet shampoo.......Can I use liquid soap on a cat(to wash it)?
Yes, of course you can use it. I suggest you use Dawn, or Ajax dish soap. If this is your first time washing a cat, it will be very stressfull. You should wear protective gloves and clothes. Don't throw him into a tub of water. Firs, just gently pour some water on his back. If he's fine with that, then you can keep adding more and more water until he's ccomfortable.
Then scrub him gently with the dish soap. and pout more water. and dry and brush. Can I use liquid soap on a cat(to wash it)?
The only time you should really wash your cat is if it's too dirty to manage on its own, or its been rolling in things like oil or antifreeze.
You can use Dawn dishsoap to remove greasey buildup, but if you can, try to use pet shampoo as it's safer for their skin, eyes, ears, and bellies in case you get it in places you shouldn't, or they ingest it.
I wouldn't. Cats have very sensitive skin. If you find it necessary to wash your cat (although I have never washed a cat, since they keep themselves perfectly clean), you really should get cat shampoo.
Sorry.
Oh, in the old days before flea medicine which you put on the backs of their necks, we used to have to give cats flea baths with flea shampoo. So heed this warning. If your cat has claws or teeth, you will likely get bloodied up. And your cat will really hate you and not trust you for a while.
So be sure your cat actually needs bathing before you do it. Since cats keep themselves clean, unless he has tangled with a skunk, you really don't need to bathe your cat.
Of course, if it is for a cat show or something, I guess people do put their cats through baths.
Cat's skin is more sensitive than humans so the soap itself probably will be fine but the cat's skin afterward could become dry and irritated. I use Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo on my kitties and it works great.
I had cats. There really should be no reason to shampoo a cat unless something awful got on them. Cat's do a great job of cleaning themselves. But if you have to, use a gentle shampoo.
yes you can, my mom called the vet to ask cause our kitten had fleas, and she used dawn. it helped the fleas go down alot. but yeah you can.
Duh, you can not use dish soap on a cat! They make a special shampoo for cats, just like they do for dogs! Go to the mall or local pet store!
Sure! Once in awhile. Just rinse it out good and don't bathe your cat often. I never bathe mine so once a month would be a lot for my cats.
Yes, just make sure the shampoo is all natural before you wash him/her. There should be a label on the bottle that says it's organic or something.
I have used everything on my cat and shes not dead yet so I say yes!!!! *including liquid soap*
yes you can use down dish soap. my vet told me to use down because it kills fleas.
i wouldnt, they can have allergic reactions to it, like others have said they do have sensitive skin.
You mean dish soap? Nooooo! Kitty is not a greasy plate!

Is it true that you are not supposed to use soap on your vagina to wash it? I don't see how this could be true?
Because if I didn't use soap everyday I would smell ..
Someone please let me know what to do ..Is it true that you are not supposed to use soap on your vagina to wash it? I don't see how this could be true?
That is 100% true, it can lead to a lot of irritation and other problems.
It also can wash away the natural bacteria that helps wash and clean your vagina naturally.
Believe it or not heavily perfumed soap can even sometimes make your vagina have more odor.In general rememebr that some smell is only natural, and that when the smell it too strong it can be a sympton of other things like infection.
I also liek yto clean down there or I'll feel gross and I've found that johnson's baby wash it really good. It doesn;t have ';soap'; in it but it still cleans and has a slight slight scent and doesn't irritateIs it true that you are not supposed to use soap on your vagina to wash it? I don't see how this could be true?
Actually getting soap into the vagina can mess with the pH, among other things, and increase the risk of yeast or bacterial infections. As long as you are using a mild soap on the outside, it's really not a problem. Just be sure you are rinsing off well. As long as it's not irritating to your skin, or you don't have an infection of any kind, there's nothing to worry about.
You aren't supposed to use soap IN your vagina, because this is an internal organ and shouldn't have ANYTHING in it (with the exception of tampons, sex toys, babies %26amp; penises).
The vulva or external portion on the other hand will not suffer from soap, unless you end up with a reaction to it. DO wash your external parts with soap daily. Heck, they even make ';feminine'; washes just to cleanse the external parts!
You can use soap to wash your downstairs, but you should not let it get inside of you. It's because your vagina is really good at cleaning itself out and it doesn't need the extra help. It can wash away the good stuff in there.
So go ahead, use soap, just don't let it get inside.
You should always use soap to clean your body, including your vagina. I use a hypo-allergenic soap with no scent in it as to lessen the rick of getting a rash or irritation ( I have very sensitive skin).
I would try using Ivory, I like it the best.
that is not true at all . you have to wash your vagina to kill germs and avoid infection. however you need to avoid scented soaps, tampons, pads, they irritate the skin on the vagina and can case infections.
i don't know if it's true or not but i have been doing so for over 10 years %26amp; haven't had a problem yet! if your still nervous, try summers eve or feminine wash which is meant to cleanse your vagina. i prefer using dove body wash.
well you should just use a mild cleanser, as to not mess up the natural cleansing that goes on down there, and the natural pH and all that good stuff.
don't use anything harsh. tis quite a sensitive area hehe
umm i always use soap its gross if you don't. just get a face cloth make sure you wash your whole body first and then your vagina and then butt last. your fine use dove soap. nothing fancy.
Soap bothers some women. If it doesn't bother you - wash with soap. Some women are more sensitive and soap residue causes irritation. That is the only reason not to use soap. And those women use some other kind of feminine wash.
i believe the reason you aren't supposed to is because the soap could cause irritation and burning witch might lead to a bladder or yeast infection mild soaps might be okay but defiantly don't use strong body wash or anything
you can use soap ON your vagina, just not IN your vagina
Soap is supposed to have an alkaline base which can sometimes cause thrush but in 50 years I haven't had a problem
Washing your external personal parts with soap is fine. You may want to use one with lotion/cream, like Dove or Camay, because soap (like Ivory) can be drying. And always rinse well.
I have for 40 years and I haven't had any problems! Just make sure you rinse well.

Yeah she does an awful lot and it tastes like **** but I'm kind of worried because the packaging never says non-toxic...Did Your Mother Ever wash your Mouth out with soap ?
I once washed my own mouth out with soap, actually(:Did Your Mother Ever wash your Mouth out with soap ?
Yeah when I was 5. But I just spit it out when she left the room. lol
Yeah she did. I was so angry for a long time over it.
Nope.
No, but my dad did. Does that count for your poll?
no cos I never cuss in front of her

When you buy produce from the store do you wash it with soap and water or just water.?
I was at the Center for Disease Control site (Swine flu research) and I came across an unrelated subject. They suggest washing produce with soap and water. I always used a scrub brush (when applicable) and water. Do you use soap? When you buy produce from the store do you wash it with soap and water or just water.?
If I am gonna cook it I just wash it in tap water and maybe use a brush if needed. If I am gonna eat it raw, I was it with mild soapy water.
This is a good question for seniors/elderly. As you get older your resistance to certain pathogens wanes. If you get a serious stomach or lower track infection you could end up in the ER screaming your head off. When you buy produce from the store do you wash it with soap and water or just water.?
Thanks for BA. Yeah I been to the ER for the same reason. I was sick for days after as well. Report Abuse
To disinfect raw foods, I rinse off the dirt and grit, then I have a spray bottle of white vinegar, and an opaque spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide (regular 3%). Spray first with the vinegar and follow with the peroxide (which breaks down into pure water.) Both are utterly harmless to humans, pets and the environment. This can also be used to disinfect kitchen sink, counter tops (not marble)...effective, safe and cheap. Spray vinegar first, then follow with hydrogen peroxide---it'll remove the vinegar flavor and odor and evaporate.
I keep baking soda in a shaker top jar.
Before I use produce, I wet the item sprinkle on the baking soda %26amp; then rub it real good %26amp; rinse of the produce and soda under running water.
That way if I didn't rinse it as completely as I thought, the baking soda is harmless for me to ingest. But that doesn't happen now that I switched from that soap to baking soda b/c I can feel the soda particles %26amp; that helps me to make sure the produce is thoroughly rinsed.
I feel good w/ this method b/c soap doesn't kill viruses any better than baking soda, but I think the particles of soda would help remove microscopic organism's better than soap. It think of it as an exfoliating scrub my food.
Some things I do. I read somewhere that you have to believe a field picker relieved him/herself on your melon/cucumber/squash/etc, and to scrub them with soap and water and rinse accordingly.
(cuz, think about it, how many port-o-potties are in fields)
Any fruit/veg that grows on the ground, I do just that.
Imagine if you have bacteria on the surface and you slice through it, you bring those bugs right down through the whole piece. Then, you put it in your mouth.
I wash my hands with soap and water; clean my counters, knives, and cutting boards with hot soapy water and a cool rinse; but most of my fresh fruits and veggies I clean with running water and a bit of scrubbing (using clean hands or a clean brush), then pat dry with a clean white kitchen towel or paper towel.
Once in awhile I'll use a dab of soap; when I'm concerned about loosening bacteria, virus, visible dirt, or pesticides. This probably doesn't help much though. I'd be interested in seeing a link to the article you read at the CDC website.
I always wash my stuff. I use soap and water on tomatoes and peppers and fruits like apples, pears and especially peaches as they have a lot of pesticide on them. I rinse the lettuce really good with plain water as even the washed bagged ones are washed in chlorine.
I read somewhere that to clean your sponges you'd wet them and put them in the microwave for a few minutes. With that in mind I determined that heat must kill disease, so now I boil or cook all my vegetables and eat only canned fruit or fruit that the skin comes off easily (like an avacado). So no I don't use soap, I use heat.
I only use soap and water to wash the outside of fruits like cantaloupe or pineapple. I thoroughly rinse all vegetables but do not use soap. I really think we are carrying this cleanliness too far. We do have an immune system to combat some of the germs we ingest. Good common sense is the best protection we can have.
Dish soap in a sink full of cool water. I don't know how clean the hands of the picker were, and I have seen people handling and sniffing (nose touching) produce in the grocery store then setting the item back down. Make sure it is anti-bacterial dish soap, and of course rinse well in cool water.
We rinse off with fresh water. I don't think we have ever had a bad experience so far. Sixty-eight years is proof enough for me. Yes, I know that things are not done now like they once were but I guess I will just continue on as I have always done and take my chances. I do wonder though. If four out of five people suffer with diarrhea does that mean that one out of five people enjoy it ?
I've got this far just by washing them in water, with no problems. I believe that we need to ingest a few bugs here and there to build up our immunity to germs. I also steam or boil those that have to be cooked, so that kills off the germs.
There is a special soap for produce but I've never bought or used it. I use either water or white vinegar and water. Vinegar helps to kill the germs plus it helps to remove oils such as oily pesticides.
No. And I doubt that I ever will. They sell produce ';wash'; in most grocery stores now. I've never tried it, but it says that it doesn't leave any flavors on the produce like soap might.
No, just water and will continue to. I also use a vegetable brush on potatoes and carrots. I had an aunt who always washed chicken with dish detergent and hot water. My mother just rinsed her chicken and veggies. Poppy
I used to only wash it with water, but lately I've started using soap as well...just to be safe. Not only because of bacteria, but because of insect sprays and such.
I use soap for waxy things like cucumbers and bell peppers. Leafy things I just use water because they will absorb soap.
I have always rinsed produce off well with plain water and brush if necessary. I've never used soap. I don't trust that the food has been prewashed.
Just lots of clean water . I think the soap could harm us . Veggies and fruits used to be washed in potassium permanganate , once , to get them germ free .
Nope, generally just rinse in water. However, I steam all veggies and the heat kills most unwantables.
Yes. I use my dish detergent if I am going to eat the peel on fruit but I just wash my veggies. I figured the steam will kill the bacteria or virus.
No never have used soap, only water and as you say a scrub brush.
A solution of dish soap and white vinegar in water seems to do well.
I also wash my home-grown that way.

Are hand sanitizers really as good as washing with soap and water?
No! ';Antibacterial hand sanitizers are marketed to the public as an effective way to ';wash one's hands'; when traditional soap and water are not available. These ';waterless'; products are particularly popular with parents of small children. Manufacturers of hand sanitizers claim that the sanitizers kill 99.9 percent of germs. Since you naturally use hand sanitizers to cleanse your hands, the assumption is that 99.9 percent of harmful germs are killed by the sanitizers. Recent research suggests that this is not the case.
How do hand sanitizers work?
Hand sanitizers work by stripping away the outer layer of oil on the skin. This usually prevents bacteria present in the body from coming to the surface of the hand. However, these bacteria that are normally present in the body are generally not the kinds of bacteria that will make us sick. In a review of the research, Barbara Almanza, an associate professor at Purdue University who teaches safe sanitation practices to workers, came to an interesting conclusion. She notes that the research shows that hand sanitizers do not significantly reduce the number of bacteria on the hand and in some cases may potentially increase the amount of bacteria on the hand. So the question arises, how can the manufacturers make the 99.9 percent claim?
How can the manufacturers make the 99.9 percent claim?
The manufacturers of the products test the products on inanimate surfaces hence they are able to derive the claims of 99.9 percent of bacteria killed. If the products were fully tested on hands, there would no doubt be different results. Since there is inherent complexity in the human hand, testing hands would definitely be more difficult. Using surfaces with controlled variables is an easier way to obtain some type of consistency in the results. But as we are all aware, everyday life is not as consistent.
Current recommendations for hand sanitation
Interestingly enough, the Food and Drug Administration, in regards to regulations concerning proper procedures for food services, recommends that hand sanitizers not be used in place of soap and water but only as an adjunct.
Likewise, Almanza recommends that to properly sanitize the hands, soap and water should be used. A hand sanitizer can not and should not take the place of proper cleansing procedures with soap and water.';Are hand sanitizers really as good as washing with soap and water?
hand sanitizer kills the infectious dose, just like soap and water. infectious dose=amount of germs it take to make one sick. Are hand sanitizers really as good as washing with soap and water?
the best way to make sure your hands are clean is to wash and then sanitize.

No they aren't, but the next best thing to it. The sanitizers should have alot of alcohol in them to work best.
I recently read this in the newspaper.
I heard on dateline NBC that they will actually do more harm than good in the long run because the bacteria will develop an immunity to the santizer. It's actually better for our society to use regular soap and water. BUT if you need something quick and there isn't that available, use the hand sanitizer.

they are good for when you are 'on the go'..
I believe just good old soap and water is better. Just make sure you wash for at least a good minute. In a pinch I would use the sanitizers. The trouble with sanitizers are that they dry your skin and using them to often makes the germs stronger to fight them off
I have been hearing things that suggest that the sanitizers are used so much that the bacterias and viruses that they were meant to kill are now mutating and becoming immune to the sanitizers. Soap and water still seems to be the best bet!
I've heard experts say that hand sanitizers work as well as hand washing but they should not be used in place of it. Hand sanitizers are best used for times when soap and water are not available.

The best soap is something that is non-irritating, non-drying, because this causes acne to pop up. What's good for some, may not be for others, so you have to do trial and error.
you can surely use baby soaps best available in the market as they are made for soft skin and they are chemical free . use them and explore.

Why do MOST British people not rinse off the soap bubbles after washing the dishes?
I am married to a British man and it infuriates me he doesn't wash the soap bubbles off the dishes when he does dishes. And it isn't just him - most people's houses I have been to, while watching them wash the dishes they scrub the dishes and then put them directly in the drainer to dry. Why?? It makes the dishes all spotty and the last thing I want to do is eat off a plate that has dried soap on it! How disgusting and unhygienic! Just wondered if someone could shed some light on this or have any comments. Be nice please! Why do MOST British people not rinse off the soap bubbles after washing the dishes?
I ran across this while I was living in Devon. The only serious issue I saw was the potential consumption of surfactants, emulsifiers and such. However, I haven't found any evidence that the small amounts in question pose any health risk. On the other hand, there are some of us who are extremely sensitive to the taste it leaves on dishes. In some cases I could discern the motivation was a kind of frugality, or more kindly stated, a desire not to waste. I resorted to 1) rinsing them again when others retired or 2) washing them myself. Why do MOST British people not rinse off the soap bubbles after washing the dishes?
Yes it's disgusting and I have rinsed my dishes for years as I can't stand the taste of soap on them...especially if having a drink...YUK. My family thought I was mad! Report Abuse

What is wrong with the traditional English bathroom? (didn't really know we had one) Everybody I know rinses off after they have had a bath. I use the shower over the bath to rinse off. Report Abuse
Well, I don't know if this is valid for all British in general. But, now that I remember, I have never understood how they are managing to rinse their body after taking the bath,in a traditional english bathroom.
Maybe the amount of surfactants that rests in our body,is not dangerous for our health, but I feel something strange, just thinking of that.
A possible justification of this behaviour could be the old belief that a glass of water is enough for a ladie's toilet!
Katerina
maybe that is the British custom. Different countries has different customs.

dont ever use soap on your face. It can never do any benefit to your skin rather various harmful effect will emerge.
instead use a quality cleanser. and every cleanser has instruction on their label how to use that.
mostly u have to clean your hand first very well, splash face with water, then take little cleanser into hands and work into lather and apply onto face. then gently massage. then rinse.
Ye definetly.but careful waht soap you use. It depends on you skin type. If your skin is normat to combination ,much better to use something oil free.
Usually.viruses

Do you wash your butt with soap and water after shitting.?
I'm actually pooping right now, while on my laptop.
It's better to wash it, but it's not necessary every time.Do you wash your butt with soap and water after shitting.?
Only if I accidently chit myselfDo you wash your butt with soap and water after shitting.?
If I'm home, which I usually am when I do that.
Do you wash your mouth with soap and water after talkin' like that, cos it sounds like you're talkin' out yer ***.
no i use my childrens toilet wipes though much fresher feeling than toilet paper. Do you really need to be this crude though?
No way dude............what if it itch or burn....................
What a question! But, (pardon the pun), if your having a stinky booty problem between wipings, I would suggest some baby wipes instead of TP.
Yes i do... all the time. But what I use is liquid soap as it is a bit mild compared to bar soaps.
no
no no yes maybe sometime
no need to IF U use 1/2 roll of toliet tissue - huh? - actually i purchased some Baby Wipes; i think they smell like Alcohol; i've used them up quickly, too; l o l. but u have a good idea!
Not usually.
wiping it with tissue is not enough..washing it with water and soap is the right thing to do.By doing that you are 100% sure that its free of dirt (****)
no, but it is a good idea. but, i do wash my hands, each and every time, i pee or take a dump.
I don't wash my butt with soap every single time after I poop, but sometimes i do rub a little soap and water on it if i am at home and then wipe it again until it's mostly dry.
I don't think it's necessary to wash ur butt like that every time, but I definitely rub a lot of soap in my butt when i am showering to make sure it's extra clean. I usually just push a bar of soap inside about a quarter of the way and then rub my butt hole with my fingers or a sponge for a few minutes. Most people probly don't think they have to do that much but i think it's good to be clean and that area can get dirty! A lot of guys would think that's gay but girls like a clean butt for sure.
It also depends on the poop. Sometimes you can poop and it seems very clean. Other times you feel like you should definitely soap it up. I would say if it smells, put some soap in there. If not, just give it a really good wipe until you shower.
you have nothing else to talk or ask about
i always do...whats wrong with that?

Does soap kill bacteria or just wash it off?
It just washes it off.
Alcohol-based gels kill bacteria, as well as some anti-bacterial soaps, but I'd recommend against using them. They encourage the bacteria to develop immunities against the anti-bacterial agents and make them even harder to destroy.Does soap kill bacteria or just wash it off?
If you get anti-bacterial soap I think it can kill up to 99.9% of Germs, but I'm not an expert. But yeah, I'm sure that most soaps kill the germs. Jowever, I know for sure that purell and germ-x and those other hand sanitizers do. Plus, I just looked at my soap bottle, and it says ';to reduce germs'; not kill them, so maybe they do just wash them off

Is there any way to possibly be able to recycle the exhausted soap water from my washing machine?
In my endeavors to be more ';green'; I have just noticed an awful lot of water is used in my household of six people during constant washing. I have already attempted to steer clear from washing in all max or super loads which uses more water, but what about the water that just gets drained? Is there something I can do with that water that just gets poured into the washer sink?Is there any way to possibly be able to recycle the exhausted soap water from my washing machine?
you probably want to use biodegradable soap, but if you do, you should be able to use the water for plants.
you probably want to mix in the rinse water, to dilute the soap as much as possible.
and you might choose to use the least amount of soap that will still get the job done, although i've no idea how you'd test this. clearly the soap manufacturers aren't going to help, as they'd like you to use as much as possible.
i would, however, bet that there is some ';greenie'; website that has this information. Is there any way to possibly be able to recycle the exhausted soap water from my washing machine?
If it is ';soapy'; water i.e. Lux flakes etc. rather than ';detergent';, you can use that to water the garden or spray on plants if you can get diverter pipes for this purpose and keep the saved water in Water Butt.
My mom collect the soap water from wqshing machine into buckets and use the water to flush the toilet.
You can save a lot of money $$$ per month.
As long as you aren't using harsh cleaning solutions in your laundry, the water can be used to water your plants and lawn.
You can water the garden with it.
Mine goes into a settling tank. I can then pump it out for the lawn and most of the chemicals go to the bottom.
That would be ';gray'; water and you can collect it and water your garden, trees, shrubs grass etc.
Basically all water but the toilet water can be recycled

When you shower,do you use a wash cloth, scrunchiethingy,or just the soap?
when washing that hot bod of yours...When you shower,do you use a wash cloth, scrunchiethingy,or just the soap?
I use the cat.
Kills two birds with one stone, and saves water and soap.
(Never knew I was a green-devil, did you?)
When you shower,do you use a wash cloth, scrunchiethingy,or just the soap?
If I have a bar of soap, I use just the soap
If I have liquid soap, I use whatever is available -- preferably a scrubby, but I don't normally take one on vacation with me and the hotel provides washclothes.
';scrunchiethingy?';
ROFL!
Yeah, I use one of those..on a long handle so I can get my back.
That is.. if I'm alone.
wait...oh sorry...didn't see the 'hot bod' part till now. Guess I shouldn't have answered...sigh.
scrunchiethingy with body wash - oollaaa
It also gets all the dead skins cells off your body and down the drain.
Hugs,
Susie
lissen soap-N-water cost money so I like to do more than one thing at a time. SO when I shower all the critters are in there and I soaps up the porcupine and go crazy cleaning!!!
I use a loofa aka scrunchiethingy. LOL
Whomever's handy
Soap %26amp; washcloth, to make sure my hotness is cleaned properly haha
I used all of the above. I like using liquid soap in the shower, though.
Just the soap
Washcloth. If I drop the soap will you get it for me?
A washcloth.
Wash cloth.
A soapy wash cloth.
A wash cloth with body wash.
a scrubby and a wash cloth, with soap
I just need soap. This boy's got a firm grip on that soap
A scrubby-doo. You handle one so well too... ;-)
How quickly you forget.
Wash cloth.
Well, I'm a cat, so I just use my tongue...

...lolIs it true that if it's my soap I can wash it as fast as I want too?
Oh? I got it now. Why waste the soap? I'm here. hehehehehe! Is it true that if it's my soap I can wash it as fast as I want too?
yes sweet Leroy you can!
uh...sure
Nope. You have to wash your soap on one leg at a time, like everyone else.
better be careful, sometimes i hear that while you are cleaning it it can go off and shoot you in the eye
LMAO...um...yes, that is absolutely true.
Just don't let Mom see, and remember,
there are far better ways to...wash soap.
Memo to self:
Never borrow LeRoy's soap.
yeah but do you want to waste it that fast
No, but if it is your party you can cry if you want to.

Can I use recycled washing machine water and soap to water my plants and trees?
I am using the ';Kirkland'; brand of dry soap from Costco? It does have 0.5% of phophates in it.Can I use recycled washing machine water and soap to water my plants and trees?
Plants are not meant to receive anything un-natural, therefore, pouring chemically filled water will most lickely cause them to die. Like another posting has mentioned, use th water instead to wash your driveway, balcony, or clean your drain pipes. Plants just do not have the ability to eliminate chemicals from their environments. Can I use recycled washing machine water and soap to water my plants and trees?
why dont you just piss on the tree its better then washing machine water with skin oils in the water and other chemicals that were in the clothes and ewww lol
I wouldn't suggest it.
Make sure it's a bio degradeable soap and check with your local health inspector, There might be a $10,000 fine
It stinks in the hot sun
Your plants will suffer in the long run. You could use the recycled water to wash your driveway, pavement, drains, etc.
no you shouldn't i understand wat you're going for by doing so and it's real good, but i wouldn't if i were you...
I don't think it would be a smart idea at all...use it instead to wash outside toys, furnature, laneway....but don't water your plants and tree's with it.
Of course you can. the soap should help them grow healthy.viruses

Bar soap vs. body wash?
Anyone think you actually get more usage per ounce out of body wash - and therefore theoretically cheaper... since the bar of soap will wash away (melt/dissolve) from non-use while you actually get to use every drop of the body wash?Bar soap vs. body wash?
i use both but i like body wash moreBar soap vs. body wash?
I don't think bar soap will disappear, just dry up.
the body wash is maybe 85% water (or more) so bar soap is more economical. They only think up the body wash stuff to get segments of the gullible public to buy something different.
Body wash is usually more expensive to buy, as you can get bar soap for less than a dollar per bar. I personally prefer bodywash - it leaves your skin feeling more moisturized, and you have more choices for scents, etc. As well, you don't have to worry about the bar slipping out of your hands. :) Price-wise, though, I would say that bar soap would be cheaper.
I don't know about cheaper but I do think that body wash is more sanitary then bar soap.
I don't want to wash with the same soap that everyone or anyone else is using. And soap that is sitting in the tub/shower collecting God knows what while sitting there.
And body wash seems to lather better then bar soap so it would seem like you would use less plus the fact that bar soap gets really gross after awhile especially when the kids leave it in the soap dish and then it gets filled up with water while their playing in the tub. or it sits and gets wet from the shower running.
Bar soap also tends to leave a film on your body and to me that is kinda gross feeling. Body wash seems to rinse off your body better.
Only if you are showering once a month as opposed to daily.
you should use both- the bar of soap cleans and deodorizes and the body wash is more for moisturizer and scent not really as thorough cleansing wise and soap. Use bar of soap, then scrathcy body wash (like a salt or sugar scrub) and then a moisturizing body wash - so clean and so moisturized - perfect shower. for the best scrub ever use the bath and body works ture blue spa ';take your sweet time'; almond scented walnut shell body scrub or victoria secret sugar scrub - amazzzing
Bar soap won't dissolve in the soap dish if you have something which properly drains. Then, you get to use it all. Plus, body wash is, ounce for ounce, quite a bit more expensive.
I prefer body wash just because it's better for my skin. I have eczema wich means I have very dry skin, I really can't use soap.
The soap bar
I prefer the body wash because I have not yet found a bar of soap that will not dry out my skin. I live in a dry area and every bit of moisture counts.
I prefer body wash because it doesn't spead germs (Dirt from other people gets collected like a magnet) Also it's easier to use (It doesn't slip out of you hand) I think you do get more out of the body wash because the bar does dissolve after a while. And the bar is smaller than the bottle of the body wash.
soap
body wash
body wash at least it's not whale bluber
bar soap
I think bar soap would get more off, but the body wash is easier. But then again bar soap is much cheaper than body wash. Bar soap is unsanitary because it has germs on it . B-Wash comes from a bottle so it is sanitary.
I use body wash, it leaves your skin more smooth and it keeps you smelling better longer.

on my face I use a castile soap...because I am allergic to most soaps(on my face only)....but the rest of my body gets clean with green Irish Spring soapFavourite soap or body wash to use in the shower?
Dove is definitely the best if you're looking for something that isn't going to irritate your skin. Ever since i was a kid I'd had this rash on my arms, so the doctor told be to use plain dove soap... no more rash. Everything else has so much perfume and dyes in it that it dries the skin out, plus, it comes in all sorts of different kinds.Favourite soap or body wash to use in the shower?

If i get outbreaks what should i do ?can i wash it using soap or i even can't let water to make it wet?
You need to identify what you are having outbreaks of before anyone can help you!
If you mean Herpes, then yes you should wash with soap and water. Wash the cloth in the laundry after you use it on your affected area. Clean the tub or shower afterwards to make sure any cast off virus is gone.
If you are having outbreaks of syphilis or gonorhhea, then go to a clinic or doctor and get treated. Both can be cured in the early stages.
Ask a professional if you are confused what to do.If i get outbreaks what should i do ?can i wash it using soap or i even can't let water to make it wet?
I'm sure washing it would be a good thing. Just make sure it's the last part of your body you wash. Use a wash cloth that you can wash in hot water afterwards, It's best to keep the area clean and dry so you don't get a bacterial infection.

Bar soap vs. body wash?
soap or body wash gel ? which you think is the best. and tell me which brand soap or body wash gel you used.Bar soap vs. body wash?
I like bar soap by Dove, the sensitive skin kind. Body washes will irritate the vagina.Bar soap vs. body wash?
Body wash because it takes too long to lather the sponge up from the bar soap. I use caress body wash on my body and Dove bar soap on my face.
Both. I use non fragant soaps. Skin is sensitive.
Body wash? Depends on the sales and the potency of the fragrance.
ive always loved body wash more mainly bc its so much easier to use, right now im using olay with the moisture ribbons in it, its pink, it leaves my skin feeling so smooth afterwards
But my question is...Does body wash get you as clean as bar soap??? It makes my skin feel great to. But I usually shower with bar soap first then body wash. I love Caress Tahitian body wash. It smells great and has beads to exfoliate your skin!
lol, this is a weird question.
i use dove as soft as cashmere body wash...its really nice:)
it depends on what kind of skin you have. I Love Body wash and you should try Tone,Johnson %26amp; Johnson,Dove,Olay,or Ivory. Those are really good and don't irritate the skin. Oh,and Aveeno !
Me personally i love body wash it's perfect and bar soap just slips out of your hands and gets really annoying the only time i go for soap is when the body wash smells too strong.

Me personally i love body wash it's perfect and bar soap just slips out of your hands and gets really annoying the only time i go for soap is when the body wash smells too strong.
i like the body wash.. i use DOVE

Wow. I can't believe I'm actually responding to this! Lol, but they must use soap - I mean why would they still spend money to buy HAIR shampoo when they've got none? LOL.
BTW, love the randomness!
I have dandruff so I still have to use head and shoulders. I dont bic my head though, just a regular electric razor shave (the stubble is still there).
wow this question is so repetitive.

Can i wash face with cool water and soap and do i have to use a facecloth to get the soap off?
is it better to get the soap off ur face with a face clothCan i wash face with cool water and soap and do i have to use a facecloth to get the soap off?
I wouldn't recommend using normal soap, as it's usually too harsh for faces. If you can't afford or don't want to use cleanser toner and moisturizer, get a specially designed face soap, such as clinique.
If you use the soap for convenience, get some dove liquid hand soap, the one with the sticker saying it's recommended for use on faces too.
Also, use a sponge! I use the ramer baby sponges, they're lovely :)Can i wash face with cool water and soap and do i have to use a facecloth to get the soap off?
you don't really need a face cloth. soap and water is fine. but you can use a face cloth to help exfoliate dead skin cells, just be gentle and don't rub it on your face too hard cz your skin will become too raw and dry. just use the cloth 2-3 times a week or so.
cold water helps close and tighten your pores so thats ok. i recommend you start of with warm water to open up and unclog your pores then follow it up with cold water to close is up :)
hope that helps!
It's best to use a wash cloth that is heated - before you wash to draw dirt to the surface.
You can wash with whatever kind of water temp you enjoy.
I suggest a medium temp. And lather a pure and natural soap
and rinse well. Pat dry and add a toner this helps rid face of residual soap and tighten skin to prepare it for the moisturizer -
and the day.
using a face cloth helps to slough off dead skin cells which will dull the appearance of your beautiful skin. However, if you are having a serious breakout, or are suffering from other skin problem it is important to be gentle as it could be aggrivated by rubbing. Also only use your face cloth once on your face if at all possible. It helps to spread bacteria otherwise. You can always use a salt scrub and cool water if you want to exfoliate (table salt, or sea salt, or even epsom salt applied to a moist face rubbed gently followed by a cool water rinse.)viruses

Which is healthier...bar soap or body wash???
prefer body wash squirt and go..lolWhich is healthier...bar soap or body wash???
both has good and bad.. body wash mostly only contains scent, bar soap is to clean but less scent...too much soap can lead to dry skin. whatever suits you.Which is healthier...bar soap or body wash???
Same thing, except one is solid and the other liquid.
i would imagine body wash because the unused product would be inside the container and therefore would be less pronoe to bacteria build up, as opposed to a bar which you rub all over your body then leave out.
If you think a body wash is healthier and less prone to germs- explain to me why a wash has to be preserved and a soap doesn't... It depends on your personal preference. Cheap store bought soaps are terrible, drying and sensitising. A good one made with butters and rich oils is great for the skin and easy to use. Same with body wash. Neither is better than the other- its your preference.
BAR SHOP HAVE SOME MATERIALS WHICH BLOCK THE PORES OF SKIN ...BUT THAT MATRIAL IS REALLY LESS IN BODY WASH...SO BODY WASH IS BETTER
I dont think one is healthier than the other, but some bar soaps are organic, more natural.
Reading the ingredients of a body wash makes me think its a little more complicated than a bar of soap
body wash ..no toching of various ppl ...purely nice ...cuz ppl touch soap ..wheras in body wash they use d wash dey touch ,.,..so its pure
Body wash of course.. imagine all the germs and dirt sitting on the bar soap every time you wash... yuck!
Body wash since nobody touches it before you use it. Bar soap has bacteria on it from everyone touching and using it.
body wash is hygienic to use, and use loofah for best results :D

Whats the best way to get rid of soap and softener in the Soap tray in the washing machine.?
I regularly have to clean soap and softener from the soap tray in the washing machine.
Even though I usually put tablets in with the washing.
Whats going on.?
I have just finished using an old tooth brush on it. There must be a better way. So whats answer please.?Whats the best way to get rid of soap and softener in the Soap tray in the washing machine.?
Since both are made to be diluted with water, it does no harm to follow either the detergent or the softener with another capful of water. When or if it does accumulate in the container trays, it is a lot easier to clean if you run a cup or so of warm vinegar through them to loosen the residue. You don't even have to worry about it mixing with the detergent or softener in the next load because it acts like a fabric softener and will set the dye on darks doing no damage to the garments in the load.Whats the best way to get rid of soap and softener in the Soap tray in the washing machine.?
Don't know whether this applies to your washer. I am able to remove the soap tray from mine and then you can soak it for a while in warm water - this should remove most of gunge. Another helpful hint is perhaps to use a good quality liquid detergent instead of tablets. Good luck!
The first answer is 100% right. vinegar is the best stuff in the world for this.

Poll: Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo?
i pretty sure they use soap..shapoo is for hairPoll: Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo?
Yeah they should use Shampoo. Only because our head produces oils to protect our scalp so when we don't wash our hair properly it makes it greasy. So since bald men obviously don't have hair their scalp will appear shiny. So shampoo is probably a good idea.Poll: Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo?
Haha I've asked this question before, I got an answer from a bald dude and he said shampoo because it smells better XD
Usually with soap.
Soap probably because it's just like the rest of their skin.
This is really interesting.
I would say soap because it makes the most sense. I mean.. it's just skin like their arm.
shampoo
my dad use shampoo.
Yes!
I think,soap.
My dad uses shampoo. And I have no idea why.
soap unless they still have some hair left then shampoo.

Is germ-X or Purel more effective than washing hands with soap and water?
I'm just wondering if these hand sanitizers really clean your hands the way they claim to, in regards to sanitation. Is germ-X or Purel more effective than washing hands with soap and water?
purel is more effective than soap and water. 99.9% effective against common bacteria and virus'. unless you have a handful of C diff, which the purel doesn't kill. in that case, you should wash your hands with soap and hot water and then use purel. Is germ-X or Purel more effective than washing hands with soap and water?
Yes, but if you over use them, your body will become immune. Soap and water does not kill the good bacteria that hand sanitizers do on your hands. If you do use them, you should only use them once and a while because they'll stop killing bacteria and germs all together unlike soap.
Studies have shown that when your hands are more or less free of dirt and grime, alcohol-based sanitizers are extremely effective at killing bacteria and viruses. However, when a person has very dirty hands, washing with soap and water is more effective as long as the person washes everything thoroughly. The reason alcohol-based sanitizers are good to use is not because they are better than washing, its because most people don't wash thoroughly enough to remove all the germs.
