My doc says soap and shampoo have lots of scents which can cause a yeast infection so she advised using Summer's Eve feminine wash for sensitive skin and I have used NOTHING else since then and no more yeast either.Is it ok to use shampoo to wash down there?? i dont like to use bar soap?

of course you can. We take baths is oils, scents, and everything. It is nothing but another type soap with softening and texturizing and some good scent. Why not, I have when out of soap or just wanted to , to make things nicer.
As long as it's a mild shampoo, with no scents or additives that will irritate your skin.

perfectly safe but make sure you have rinsed well . best shampoo for that area is antibacterial shampoo
It wouldn't hurt but shampoo has a lot of perfumes in it which can make you itchy. You should always use white soap and toilet paper to prevent getting itchy or possible yeast infection..
